John Olsen
I am reading an autobiogtaphy of Australian icon artist John Olsen - Drawn from Life.
It is such an inspiring book - I will have to get my hands on my own copy. I have been looking into Australian Modernists and am so impressed, I had forgotten all about them with my research in European and American Modernists. There is something about the Australian artists that connect with the outback spirit here.
Such beautiful artwork. I particularly like the bottom two.
ReplyDeleteMust admit they are my favorites too.
